Attorney Walter Wendler grew up in College Station, Texas. A proud Texas Aggie, class of ’99, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University in 1995, where he was also a proud Consolidated Tiger. Walter has over a decade of experience in the construction of oil and gas refining facilities, through which he developed an appreciation for foreign workers and the value and competitiveness they add to the American marketplace.
In 2007, Walter graduated from Regent University School of Law where he met his wife and law partner, Kristy M. Wendler. Walter became a member of the Texas Bar in 2008, and a member of the Mississippi Bar in 2011.
After law school, Walter continued his career in industrial construction and remains active in the industry today. In 2015, he and his wife formed The Wendler Law Group to assist businesses and individuals navigate the complexities of immigration law. Walter provides “of counsel” service to The Wendler Law group, primarily in employment immigration matters. He enjoys partnering with businesses to successfully determine the best strategy for obtaining both temporary and permanent resident worker visas, in a variety of industries--such as agricultural, oil and gas, and construction.
Thanks to his extensive experience in industry and business, Walter understands the skill sets and knowledge required for positions that businesses seek to fill with candidates from abroad, as well as how to frame successful petitions for those visa categories.
